Creatures of Contemporary Art – guided tour in English
A guided tour makes it better. Explore the career and success story of Szabolcs Bozó in context. Step into the Bozó universe, where childhood cartoons meet contemporary art.
Born in Hungary and currently based in London, Szabolcs Bozó is one of Europe’s most exciting and high-profile young painters. His huge canvases are filled with funny, wide-eyed creatures, which are at once animals, dreams and rebellious beings. Don’t be fooled by the playful style. Behind the humour lies a sharp and profound commentary on art, fame and identity. Bozó’s works have moved beyond the Instagram feed and can now be found in the collections of the most prominent galleries from Milan to Stockholm, and on the walls of international collectors. The artist and the ‘Bozó phenomenon’ redefine what it means to be a young painter in the 21st century.
The exhibition titled Soulmate provides a fascinating insight into an artistic career and the current world of contemporary art with management, collectors and galleries in the background. During the guided tour, personal stories, behind-the-scenes details and surprising interpretations will bring you closer to Szabolcs Bozó’s unique vision.
